My Approach & Mission
What drives me is simple: the belief that every person has the capacity to rewrite their story. To step out of old patterns, reclaim their story, and create a life of purpse and a way of living that reflects who they truly are.
At the heart of my work is a simple mission: to help people move beyond survival and create lives that feel authentic, purposeful, and fulfilling.
Much of my work focuses on the narrative of self the stories we carry about who we are, how we see ourselves, how we position ourselves in the world, and how we relate to others. I support my clients in reclaiming authorship of their own lives, moving beyond the weight of past experiences and rewriting the story of self that reflects who they truly are.
I believe our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are shaped by our past experiences, but we are not bound by them. We always have the capacity to reclaim, redesign, and redirect our future. Sometimes we simply need the right space, time, and support to access the inner strength required to do so.
Many of my clients come to me carrying a deep sense of not being good enough, believing that anxiety, distress, burnout, disconnection, or self-doubt are weaknesses to be hidden or ashamed of. Yet everything we think and feel is, in some way, a form of communication: signals from within that something needs attention, care, or understanding.
My role is to help you listen to those signals, process what has been left unresolved, and rediscover your own inner voice.
The aim is not just relief from symptoms, but transformation to reconnect with your true self, reclaim confidence and clarity, and live the life you were always meant to lead, creating meaningful, lasting psychological change.
My approach is integrative and collaborative: I draw on psychotherapy, EMDR, cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapy, and coaching, tailoring our work together to your unique needs.
You don't have to face their challenges alone; healing is possible with the right support. It is a privilege to do this work and to walk alongside people as they begin to understand themselves more deeply, move beyond what has held them back, and create lives that feel more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling.
My Journey
My path into psychology was shaped by lived experience as much as professional training. Like many of the clients I now work with, I have navigated periods of anxiety, self-doubt, and significant life challenges, often while holding multiple responsibilities at once.
Before training as a psychologist, I worked in corporate banking and project management, where I experienced first-hand the pressure of high-performance environments and the gradual impact of stress and burnout. For a long time, I moved through life trying to meet expectations, carrying a strong sense of responsibility while quietly managing my own internal struggles. What others often saw as strength and independence was, at times, simply a way of coping, a way of continuing forward, even when things felt uncertain or overwhelming.
Over time, I began to recognise how easily we can lose connection with ourselves when we are shaped by the roles we take on and the narratives we absorb. That realisation marked a turning point for me, a shift away from proving my worth and towards living in alignment with who I truly am.
This understanding now sits at the heart of my work. I am not only interested in helping people feel better in the short term, but also in supporting them in reconnecting with themselves, making sense of their experiences, and creating meaningful, lasting change in how they live and relate to the world.
I have always been fascinated by the power of the stories we carry. I remember once describing my daughter as “delicate” in passing, and from that moment, she began to see herself that way. It stayed with me how quickly identity can be shaped, and how the narratives we internalise can quietly influence the way we live, relate, and understand ourselves.
